Programme notes *: additional text

The trigger for the processing of this topic was a report on the current situation of the indigenous people of America, who live on the margins of society with modest prospects for the future.

The individual sections of the work describe the wistful memories of the natives of days long past in the prairie, which the film industry probably also depicted in a certain glorification. A "war dance" symbolizes the fighting spirit and the efforts of the individual tribes for independence and recognition, before the work ends peacefully and heroically with the "Song of Hope". Thus the positive signals of the politics of the last decades in this direction are considered, although the life in the prairie will probably remain an "eternal memory".
